Entry requirements

Undergraduate

For all courses (with the exception of Nursing/Veterinary Nursing) students would usually be required to have completed the Certificat d'Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur/Diploma van Secundair Onderwijs with a minimum grade of 7/10 or 14/20 or above. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 7/10 or 14/20 in that subject will be required.

International Baccalaureate

Award of Diploma with between 26 and 29 points or above depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 5 or above in HL is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.

European Baccalaureate

Pass with between 60 and 70% depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then 70% is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.

Postgraduate

A Licientiaat (And other 2 cycle diplomas) is equivalent to the British Bachelor (Honours) degree standard and a grade of 12/20 (met voldoening / avec satisfaction) which is equivalent of a 2:2 is required. 14/20 (met voldoening / avec satisfaction) would be equivalent to a 2:1.

English language

Students are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.

We also offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement.
