Entry requirements, scholarships and keeping in touch for students from the United Arab Emirates.
Students who have completed the Emirati High School qualification would generally be required an International Foundation Programme to be considered for entry to year one of our bachelor courses.
We have a partner college, Edinburgh International College (EIC), who are located on our University campus. They offer a number of pathway foundation programmes onto our bachelor. You would study year one with EIC and then transfer to complete years two, three and four at Edinburgh Napier University.
You can find more information about EIC and the courses they provide here.
We will also accept the International Baccalaureate, GCE A-Levels, India Curriculum, Pakistan Curriculum and US curriculum, please see the relevant country pages for the education system completed.
Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Bachelor degree with 2.5/4.0 or above.
Students from the United Arab Emirates are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.
Find the approved English tests and scores we accept on our English Language Requirements page.
We also offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement.
Some courses may require a higher English language score. Please search for the course you're interested in to find out more.
