If you have accepted our offer (either firm or insurance), the final stage of your application is when we receive your exam results. This is known as the confirmation period.

SQA and GCE candidates

If you have a conditional offer, based on achieving SQA Highers, Advanced Highers or A-levels, we will receive your results from UCAS. Once we get these, we'll update the UCAS Hub with our final decision.

HNC and HND candidates

If you have a conditional offer based on these qualifications, we'll ask you to send a copy of your final certificate to us through our enquiry form. If you can't provide this, we'll normally accept a confirmation of your grade from your college.

Students with other qualifications

If your offer is conditional on achieving another qualification such as National 5 or GCSE, you must send a copy of your results as soon as you receive them. Contact us through our enquiry form. Once we receive these results we’ll aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

What are my next steps?

Keep an eye out for important emails from the University which will include information about Matriculation and Welcome week. If you would like to live in Student Accommodation, you should submit an application as soon as your place with us is confirmed.

What are my options if I don't meet my conditions and I'm not accepted?

We may have courses available in Clearing which you may meet the entry requirements for. You will be able to find details of these courses on our website from July. We also have a dedicated Widening Participation Team who can advise you on college courses which may allow you to join us in the future. Remember, there's no wrong path!
