About the University
At Edinburgh Napier, we believe in strong confident graduates
. That's why we provide all of the facilities
that you need to make the most of your studies - and more. With each of our three faculties having its own dedicated city campus, you'll feel right at home in no time.
As part of our multi-million pound ongoing campus improvements, Craiglockhart
campuses have been fully modernised and offer students some the best facilities in Scotland - with Merchiston
already having its own facilities, and even more in the pipeline.
Each campus has its own specialist library
, with the latest print and electronic reference materials, among other state-of-the-art facilities such as mock hospital wards, crime scene & forensics rooms at the Health, Life & Social Science
faculty's Sighthill campus; art & film studios and the popular computer games design lab at Merchiston for Computing, Engineering & the Built Environment
; and the purpose-built extension to our Craiglockhart campus which houses the Business School
From September 2014, over 95% of our on-campus students will be free from scheduled teaching on Wednesday afternoons, creating space for extra-curricular student-led activities such as sport and volunteering.
All students can access our Jack Kilby Computing Centre
24/7 in our two main teaching trimesters and the libraries are open until 9pm so you can study when it suits you.
Your own health and fitness are also an important part of student life, which is where our brand new [EN]GAGE Fitness
centre comes in. Offering a choice of affordable packages, time spent here will exercise your body and mind.
Finally, our cafés
and Starbucks coffee shops let you take a break from study to catch up with friends, at a price that won't break the bank.
Is that it?
