About this event
During this Offer Holder Visit Day, we will showcase our academic provision, show you around our campus, and give you a chance to explore our specialist teaching and research facilities, giving you a true sense of what we offer.
Student Accommodation will not be available to view on the day as our current students will be preparing for exams and assessments. However, we will have Accommodation staff on campus to discuss your new home.
This event is for those who have received an offer to study with us for an undergraduate degree in 2020 or 2021 and is by invitation only.
We will notify those who have registered for the event when the programme is available to view online.
Please note: Your invitation to/attendance at this event does not guarantee a place on your chosen course and you must keep up-to-date with any decisions regarding your application(s) via UCAS Track.
Learning with us
Biological Sciences students spend much of their time developing their knowledge in our purpose-built laboratories. Our on-campus labs are stocked with the latest equipment, such as a Flow Cytometer and a Confocal Microscope, which will give you the experience to hit the ground running when you graduate.
All of our Biosciences courses are accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, guaranteeing you the industry-level knowledge employers are looking for. We also have a dynamic environment of active researchers, which gives you the benefit of being taught the very latest thinking by lecturers who are pushing the boundaries of our knowledge.
In addition, our partnership with St Abbs Marine Station in Berwickshire provides students with the opportunity to engage in exciting research on current and future challenges to coastal and marine environments.
