The curriculum is tailored for the dynamic contemporary business environment. It focuses on developing skills in leadership and the application of conceptual management theories to current practice, giving you the expertise you need to take on senior roles.
You’ll gain a sound theoretical grounding in business management and stimulate an enquiring, analytical approach to several subject areas. You’ll develop competencies in innovative and creative problem solving, critical thinking and strategic reasoning, and apply these skills to your studies of business issues.
This course is delivered fully online and will take between 21 - 33 months to complete. You'll study eight modules in total, with a maximum of two modules at a time over each trimester. The online materials have been designed to support you to study at a place and pace which suits your needs.
Our online learning environment uses materials created especially for the course by our module leaders. Your learning experience will be enriched through online discussions that supplement the written materials, as well as case study analyses from diverse sectors and articles from leading academics and practicing professionals.
You’ll learn through a combination of self-directed independent online learning materials, online discussion topics and independent study.
For the award of MSc you must successfully pass all eight modules, giving a total of 180 credits. All modules are 20 credits, except where indicated.
If there is any question regarding the authorship of any submitted assessments, we reserve the right to require students to undertake an online viva.

In recent years, students have come to our MSc courses with degrees from many different disciplines, and have gone on to build careers in a range of industries in the public, private and voluntary/not-for-profit sectors.
The entry requirement for this course is a Bachelor (Honours) Degree at 2:2 or above. We look for applicants to have a background in any discipline in order to be eligible for the programme.
We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient professional work experience within the industry.
English language requirements
If your first language isn't English, you'll normally need to undertake an approved English language test and our minimum English language requirements will apply.
This may not apply if you have completed all your school qualifications in English. Check our country pages to find out if this applies to you.
Our entry requirements indicate the minimum qualifications with which we normally accept students. Competition for places varies from year to year and you aren't guaranteed a place if you meet the minimum qualifications.
