Biography

Dr Basel Barakat received his BSc, MSc and PhD from the University of Greenwich. His PhD thesis he was 'Delivering Fresh Information for Real-time Internet of Things', through his PhD, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge.

Recently, he worked as a post-doc researcher at the University of Greenwich on a project investigation ‘Signal Processing and Machine Learning Techniques for Improving Ultrasonic Guided Wave Testing’. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow investigating Internet of Things Communication protocols.

Basel research inserts are in the field of telecommunications (such as wireless communication and Internet of Things), electronics and machine learning.
