Biography

Dr Céline Garnier is a Reader in Energy and Sustainability and the MSc Environmental Sustainability Programme Leader in Edinburgh Napier University. In post since 2008 she is an Energy and Building consultant and researcher within the Scottish Energy Centre with a track record in research in solar thermal technologies and building performance. Céline is involved in the development of renewable energy systems, energy efficiency assessment, modelling and application of sustainable building and low energy design solutions for modern buildings and testing of buildings. She is also a trained SAP and BREEAM assessor and the recipient of the Green Gown Awards Runner up and Highly Commended Research Category (2009).
Before coming to Edinburgh Napier University, she studied and worked in France, where her academic background and industry experience focused on engineering.
