Biography

I am the Head of Research Governance (previous title: Leader of Research Information Management) within Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE). This involves supporting our research management system, research compliance and research data management for the University. My team also supports the data collection and submission to REF.

Previously I was a Research and Innovation Manager within RIO at Edinburgh Napier University and the Research Office at The University of Edinburgh both supporting research and innovation funding proposal development.

Prior to working in research administration and management I was a postdoctoral researcher for 8 years at Universities including The University of Edinburgh, Jagellonian University and the University of Hertfordshire. My research areas covered cell signalling interactions and pathways in disease pathology.
