Biography

I am the Head of Research Governance (previous title: Leader of Research Information Management) within Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE). This involves supporting our research management system and research data management for the University. My team also works in the areas of post award management and REF.

Previously I was a Research and Innovation Manager within RIO at Edinburgh Napier University and the Research Office at Edinburgh University both supporting research and innovation funding proposal development.

Prior to working in research administration and management I was a postdoctoral researcher for 8 years at Universities including Edinburgh University, Jagellonian University and the University of Hertfordshire. My research areas covered cell signalling interactions and pathways in disease pathology.
