Sibylle Ratz MSc SFHEA PhD

Biography

Sibylle Ratz studied in Germany, Russia and the UK and has worked as a teacher, translator, course coordinator and lecturer in Germany and Scotland. She is employed at Edinburgh Napier University as a lecturer and programme leader for the undergraduate degree programme BA (Hons) “International Business Management and Language”. Sibylle is module leader for several German modules as well as for the undergraduate module "Studying and Living Abroad", which give students intercultural training for their year abroad. Sibylle also co-teaches on other UG and PG intercultural modules, and is SAL for PG international articulation. In 2022, Sibylle completed her PhD at London Metropolitan University in the field of reflexivity in multilingual contexts.
In 2023, Sibylle was delighted to receive the Edinburgh Napier Above and Beyond Award together with Pauline Gordon in the category of Partnership.
