Welcome to the Centre for Law
Edinburgh Napier University Business School is based in the impressive Craiglockhart campus that reopened in 2005 after extensive refurbishment. The campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including includes two large lecture theatres, a cyber café, language labs and extensive computing facilities.

The Centre for Law
The Centre for Law forms part of the School of Accounting, Financial Services and Law. We are friendly, vibrant and forward-looking. We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.

Our Programmes
The Centre offers a range of qualifications at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including a full-time and part-time LLB, BA in Law, Accelerated LLB and an LLM. For more information on these programmes please click here or us the Navigation Menu on the right.
In particular, we are offering an exciting new LLM programme in Health and Social Welfare Law in academic year 2010-2011. For more information on the LLM, click here. We also offer PhD supervision and our Centre staff are delighted to provide information and advice on doctoral research within their personal field of legal specialism.

Our Approach to Teaching and Learning
In line with the Edinburgh Napier University’s overall philosophy, the Centre is committed to supplying educational services that are relevant to the needs of today's students and employers. By offering creatively designed courses, flexible study methods and accessible routes into higher education the Centre seeks to prepare students for success in a competitive job market.

Our teaching approach is directed towards supporting the learning of students whose future role will involve responsibility for providing legal advice. We aim to develop students who can thrive in highly diverse, complex and competitive legal environments. Our programmes offer a well-balanced and integrated academic curriculum of general and specialist law modules along with relevant non-law modules and seeks to equip students’ with the knowledge and understanding of legal principles and processes necessary to succeed in dynamic and complex business surroundings.
