Cameron is a freelance festivals and events professional working predominantly in the live music industry. Upon graduating from Edinburgh Napier University in 2021, Cameron was recognised as the first UK Event Management Student of the Year and has since worked in a multitude of roles on dozens of festivals, events, tours and activations across the UK and overseas. In addition to his freelance work and role as Vice Chair of Hidden Door Festival, Cameron is an artist manager for Shorthouse and an advocate for sustainability and accessibility in the festivals and events industry.

During his time at Edinburgh Napier, Cameron founded the Events Society within The Business School and, having served in the Army Reserves, was instrumental in establishing the university’s Armed Forces Network, which he co-chaired.
