Based at Merchiston Campus, at the heart of Scotland's inspiring capital, the Faculty is a centre of excellence for relevant and research-informed education and training in the areas of engineering, built environment, computing, informatics, arts and creative industries.

We seek to underpin our work in designing, developing, implementing, and promoting outputs with a creative influence. An output could be anything from a building, to a computer program, to a film, or an article, or a music composition. We pride ourselves on offering programmes which are relevant, professional, accessible and flexible.

|The Faculty's Merchiston Campus is currently undergoing renovation works to convert existing accomodation and improve our facilities. |
Merchiston Campus will be home to all our students, allowing us to bring those previously taught at other campuses together on one site for the first time.They will benefit from bespoke new facilities for their discipline as well as from existing features such as the 24-hour Jack Kilby Computing Centre and the Edinburgh Skillset Screen & Media Academy and specialist laboratories.
