Biography

RESEARCH & KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE

My specialist research interests include sustainable human resource management and the management of the employment relationship within the context of organisational change. My research and knowledge exchange work are focused on environmental leadership, employee engagement, technology and action learning. My knowledge exchange activity centres on organisation design in Europe (European Organisation Design Forum) and North America (Organization Design Forum).

ENGAGING & INNOVATIVE

I have over 13 years' academic and practitioner experience as a business school researcher and lecturer in the UK and Singapore, and previously as a change manager in a Microsoft technology consultancy. I have experience working with a range of organisations in higher education, local government, healthcare, transport, energy, construction, information technology, financial services and hospitality.

ENTERPRISING & INTERNATIONAL

I am the Global Online MBA Programme Leader and Lecturer in Human Resource Management. I hold a PhD from the University of Strathclyde. I have been awarded an honorary fellowship at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and am currently serving as a Researcher in Residence at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.
