Dr Gosha Wojcik

Lecturer

Biography

Gosha is a lecturer and early career researcher with dual critical care nursing and public policy background. Her main research interest is the growing problem of antibiotic misuse leading to the emergence of antimicrobial resistance. Her doctoral work focused on the development of a theory-based behaviour change intervention to promote optimal antibiotic use in acute hospitals. She is particularly interested in the development of digital interventions and the use of artificial intelligence for education within healthcare settings. She currently leads a Process Evaluation embedded within an NIHR-funded multicentre RCT (SHORTER trial) evaluating whether short-duration antibiotic therapy is non-inferior to the standard of care.
