Biography
Iain has been a Registered General Nurse since 1999, and has gained experience in a variety of specialities and locations.
He is currently working as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Edinburgh Napier University.
His research interests include cardiovascular health, and advanced practice in interventional cardiology and how professional role development can facilitate the healthcare environment.
He has presented his work at the European Society of Cardiology, and continues to have an international presence in facilitating the development of cardiac nursing.
He is an expert in cardiac nursing and has had articles published in the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing and the Journal of Research in Nursing, and also provides peer-review and academic critique for these journals.
