Lecturer

Biography

Sophie began as Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Edinburgh Napier University in August 2020 after completing her PhD at the University of Bradford. Prior to her PhD, Sophie's experience began in practice and she has worked in both line management and HR roles in the retail and third sectors (respectively) and is qualified at CIPD Level 7 through the practice route.

Sophie teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is Programme Leader for the MSc HRM top-up with the SHRI academy in Singapore - where she teaches research methods - and module leader for Leadership, Learning and Development. She supervises undergraduate, masters and doctoral dissertations and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
