Taught Postgraduate

For January and September entrance, applications for postgraduate courses are made directly to Edinburgh Napier University.

You can apply online by viewing your chosen course and using the Apply for this course button. Alternatively, you can use the downloads below:

If you are applying from outside the UK you must also provide  additional details for a visa application.

We advise that you submit your application as early as possible for your chosen course. This is particularly important for courses where there is a quota of funded places as these are very popular.

Research students

Before you apply you need to confirm that we can provide the necessary resources and supervision for you to carry out a research degree on your chosen subject. Please contact the appropriate research centre or the Graduate School. 

To apply, please download and complete the following 3 forms, and send them to the Graduate School:

 Application Form for research degrees 
 Supplementary personal information form 
 Tuition fee classification form.

The Graduate School will provide guidance on general queries relating to research studies and the submission of an application. Your application will then be forwarded to the relevant school for your area of research, where an offer will be considered.
