Films by Edinburgh Napier academics are screening at Cameo as part of the Folk Film Gathering.

The short film Leonel & Lesli by Paul Gray, Subject Leader for Screen & Performing Arts, was made in the context of the Apichatpong Weerasethakul Lab in Mexico. The feature drama Itu Ninu by Dr Itandehui Jansen, was made with support of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and of the Edinburgh Council Diversity and Inclusion Fund. Both films explore aspects of climate change in Indigenous communities in Mexico and will be presented together at the Folk Film Gathering in Cameo on May 6th.
