Investigation of Maintaining Nasogastric Feeding for Stroke Patients: A Mixed Methods Design
  Explored the opinions of staff, patients and relatives concerning the ‘acceptability’ and ‘effectiveness’ of methods used to maintain nasogastric feeding and implications for competency based practice education. Three phased mixed methods design including UK-wide postal survey which formed the basis of further international research. Collaborated with; NHS Lothian, Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland and Edinburgh University.
