‘Trying to get through the day’: Exploring the social contexts of alcohol and pregnancy
  This research will take a Sociological approach to the investigation of alcohol use during pregnancy. It will explore the links between alcohol consumption, pregnancy and gender, including the problematisation of alcohol use during pregnancy.

It is a qualitative study which seeks to explore women's experiences of alcohol consumption during pregnancy and the wider social factors involved in this.
