Augmented Virtual Reality Enhanced Building Information Modelling Technology for Bamboo-Timber Grid-shells
  This project aims to develop the state-of-the-art building information modelling technology enhanced by augmented virtual reality function for design, manufacturing and building of the bamboo-timber grid-shell structures. The new technology will be disseminated and implemented through student training workshops, CPD courses offered to industry practitioners. The leading institution of this project is Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi). Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) is the main collaborator that leading a UK consortium comprised of 4 members including: Intelligent Wood System Ltd (IWS), Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC) and Balfour Beatty Plc (BB). The project is funded by Construction Industry Council of Hong Kong.
