  The latest reports indicate that the number of drivers switching to electric cars is insufficient for the Scottish Government to meet its target of ending the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2032 and that Scotland is lagging behind in providing the necessary infrastructure. The aims of the project will be: (i) provide knowledge regading EVs to disadvantaged secondary school pupils, enable them to develop STEM-related skills through fun, interactive and hands-on activities, and motivate them to follow a career related to EVs (ii) enable PG students (underrepresented groups) and professionals related to EVs to gain new techniques, skills and novel ideas, to further their research and/or professional careers (iii) contribute to awareness-raising on the importance of EVs in fighting climate change.
