  The evaluation proposed here is necessarily flexible to support the programme’s evolution. The overall aim is to provide the programme with the most valid and robust practical evidence in a timely and systematic manner. It will focus on specific process and impact issues relevant to a) the individuals in receipt of the service, b) the service providers, and c) the wider culture. Specifically it will answer the overarching question:
To what extent does the service improve outcomes and experiences for people living with and affected by cancer?
