  This project aims to create an innovative bicycle pedal designed to withstand Scottish conditions which are known to be uniquely demanding upon mountain bikes and componentry. There are two main elements of the project methodology: Prospective user needs analysis using a mixed methods approach; development of design concepts
to enable the production of several prototypes.
