Update & Adapt an exisiting live tour scrip for new self-guided application

  The Scottish Literary Pub Tour has been operating successfully since its inception in 1996 however the company would now like to utilise new technology to widen the scope of the tour and attract a broader audience. The ultimate goal of the company is to develop a Self-Guided Literary Tour utilising the latest in smart phone applications, using the existing successful tour model as a template. Visitors will be able to participate in their own tour at any time of the day or night and for a fee can download the tour to their phone, ipad or laptop. In order to get to that stage, however, the current script needs significant development to enable it to be delivered without the use of live actors, suit modern technology and provide content relating to modern Edinburgh writers that would appeal to a younger audience. The company would therefore like to collaborate with Edinburgh Napier’s Creative Writing department
