Educational enhancement: Programmes, research and support

At Edinburgh Napier University, we aim to be a centre of pedagogic excellence. Within the Department of Learning & Teaching Enhancement (DLTE) our vision is to support and enrich our Schools in the development of their learning and teaching practices, supporting our strategic aim of an excellent personalised student experience.

We offer a Masters qualification in learning, teaching and assessment in higher education (Pg Certificate LTAP in HE) which is accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA). This programme of learning is designed for employees of Edinburgh Napier University, based in the UK. The Department offers a second Postgraduate Certificate also focused on learning, teaching and assessing in HE. It is an online programme and has been developed primarily for an international audience. This programme is not accredited by the HEA or SEDA.

We work with a range of external partners such as the QAA to ensure that across the sector of higher education we are at the forefront of pedagogic excellence.
