Overview

The Apply option appears on the course page when the course is open for applications. You can then select GO to find the application form.

If you are a new applicant to Edinburgh Napier University, you need to create a new user account. If you have applied to the University before, you can login with the same username and password. Your username will be the email address that you applied with previously. Please fill out the application form accurately and label documents clearly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply for more than one course?

We would encourage you to apply for one course: the one that fits you best. When filling out the application form, you’ll get a chance to tell us your second and third choice.

If your application is unsuccessful, we then check whether you’re eligible for your second or third choice. If needed, we will request further documents from you by email. In some cases, we may ask you to submit a new application via our website.

The course page doesn’t have an ‘Apply’ option. What does this mean?

The ‘Apply’ option appears when the course opens for applications.

Most courses start welcoming applications around 10 months before the course start date. Please keep in mind that not all courses will have a January and September start option. Once a start date is confirmed, the course page is updated.

Is there an application fee?

There is no application fee.

We do, however, ask offer holders from overseas to pay a deposit. If this applies to you, we will mention it in your offer email.

I’ve submitted the application form. How will I be updated?

All application updates are shared via email as soon as possible.

You should usually hear an update from our Admissions Team within 2 weeks of applying. There may be a delay during peak times.

I started my application and saved it. How do I go back and finish it?

When you saved the application, our system should send you an automatic email with an access link. This enables you to log back in and complete your application form. Please make sure to check your Junk folder.
