Tell us a bit about yourself?

My name is Chloe Barrowman, I graduated from my Masters in MSc Business Management and now I'm working with the Student Recruitment team at Edinburgh Napier.

What were you doing before your Masters?

I did my Bachelor's in Business Management from 2015 to 2019. Once I graduated, I decided to do secondary teaching because I really enjoyed doing my degree, and I didn't want to feel like I wasn't getting to use that, but I realised teaching was just not for me. I was in that position where I was wondering what I was going to do and so I picked up a job in a call centre as tech support, but again I knew this just wasn't where I wanted to be. I really enjoy business, particularly marketing and was passionate about it. So, I started looking at Masters degree options.

What was your favourite experience from your Master's?

I loved the student societies at Edinburgh Napier, it was such a great opportunity to meet new people. I made some great friends who were a huge support during my Postgraduate course which I thought was going to be quite the challenge due to remote learning. There was also lots of opportunities to get involved with things such as programmes representatives. I think the lectures and staff are extremely supportive and very, very helpful.

I loved the chance to dive deeper into some of my favourite areas of Business during my Masters.
