Transform your workplace by raising awareness of language impact, identifying workplace culture, and using the power of inclusive language with this fully online course.

Course Overview

This course will give you the skills and knowledge to foster a truly inclusive workplace environment. Traditional training programs often overlook the nuances of gender-sensitive learning, especially within STEM sectors where prejudice and discrimination persist. Language in the workplace can unwittingly perpetuate gender inequality and create hostile environments.  Research indicates that gender inclusive, gender neutral and non-sexist language is a significant component of embedding inclusive practices within the culture of the organisation. Research also affirms that gender-inclusive language is pivotal for embedding inclusive practices organization-wide. By participating in our workshop, you'll gain awareness of language's role in workplace dynamics and learn to communicate inclusively and respectfully. Together, we can start to cultivate a culture of diversity and equity in STEM and beyond.
