Competitions

When entering any competition with us, you will be required to register with us and complete certain required fields on a form. You agree that you will be responsible for ensuring that such information is kept secure and confidential at all times. You must inform us immediately if you become aware of or suspect any unauthorised use of these security details or if they become available to an unauthorised party.


Intellectual property rights

Edinburgh Napier University is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Website for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on the Website.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Viruses

Edinburgh Napier University does not guarantee that the Website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

Beats headphones competition terms and conditions

How the competition works

Only participants who pre-register for the Open Day (before 12noon on Firiday 13 October) will be eligible. Participants who had registered for the October 2017 Open Day before the competition was announced will automatically be entered into the draw. The competition is open to prospective students only, not their guests or anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.  Only one entry will be accepted per person - multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.  By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Entries close at 12noon on Friday October 13 2017. Three winners will be drawn, one from each campus. Winners will be announced at the Main Stage on each campus.

How we will use your information

Edinburgh Napier University (as the Data Controller) will use the information you have provided to register and administer your attendance at the Open Day and to enter you into the competition. Your information will be held securely on University servers and will not be added to any mailing list or shared with any other third parties.
