Kenya

Entry requirements, scholarships and keeping in touch for students from Kenya.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Students from Kenya would generally be required to complete an International Foundation Programme to be considered for entry to year one of our bachelor courses.

We have a partner college, Edinburgh International College (EIC), who are located on our University campus. They offer a number of pathway foundation programmes onto our bachelor.  You would study year one with EIC and then transfer to complete years two, three and four at Edinburgh Napier University.

You can find more information about EIC and the courses they provide here.

Postgraduate

Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Bachelor degree with lower second class (2:2) or above.

Our courses

English language

Students who are applying to an undergraduate programme are required to have completed the KCSE English Grade C/6.

Students applying to a postgraduate programme are not required to take an English language test like IELTS, as long as the bachelor degree was taught and examined in English.

Our local representatives

We have agents and international officers representing Edinburgh Napier University in Africa and around the world.

Scholarships

Students from Kenya are considered for our African Postgraduate Scholarship and there are a number of different scholarships available to help reduce the cost of studying at Edinburgh Napier University.
