Entry requirements, scholarships and keeping in touch for students from Uganda.
Students would be eligible to apply if they have gained the required scores in the Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) OR East African Advanced Certificate of Education (EAACE) OR Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). The grades required are the same as GCE A Level requirements which can be found on our course pages.
Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Bachelor degree with lower second class (2:2) or above.
Students who are applying to an undergraduate programme are required to have completed the UCE/ EACE/ COSC English Grade 6.
Students applying to a postgraduate programme are not required to take an English language test like IELTS, as long as the bachelor degree was taught and examined in English.
Students from Uganda are considered for our African Postgraduate Scholarship and there are a number of different scholarships available to help reduce the cost of studying at Edinburgh Napier University.
