Entry requirements

Undergraduate

For all courses (with the exception of those listed below) students would usually be required to have completed the Baccalauréat or Baccalauréat avec Option Internationale with Grade 12.5 or above. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 12.5 will be required.

For the following courses students would usually be required to have completed the Baccalauréat or Baccalauréat avec Option Internationale with Grade 12 or above:

BSc Building Surveying, BSc Civil Engineering, BSc Construction & Project Management, BSc Real Estate Surveying, BSc Quantity Surveying, BA Acting & English, BEng Computer Systems and Networks, BEng Computing.

International Baccalaureate

Award of Diploma with between 26 and 29 points or above depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 5 or above in HL is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.

European Baccalaureate

Pass with between 60 and 70% depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then 70% is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.

Postgraduate

A Licence or Maîtrise with an overall grade of 12 out of 20 or above (Assez Bien).

English language

  • IELTS 6.0 overall with no element below 5.5
  • Pearson's Test of Academic English overall score of 56 with at least a score of 51 in the listening, reading, writing and speaking components

We offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement. Some courses may require a higher English language score. Please search for the course you're interested in to find out more.
