We're number 1 for nurturing student talent

The Guardian University Guide 2017, which compares entry requirements with final degree awards, ranks us top in the UK for adding value to students.

We win all the awards.

For three years running, our out BDes (hons) Graphic Design programme students have put in long days, late nights, endless cups of coffee and amazing talent to win 'Best in Show' and several coveted Pencils at the D&AD New Blood Graduate showcase in London.

On top of that our design, photography and advertising students had four big wins at the 2015 and 2016 Creative Conscience Awards held in the rooftop offices of the London Unilever building.

Creativity with a difference

Our students received medals and top commendations at the Creative Conscience Awards for their work applying their talents to socially valuable projects. This year's winners designed floating shelters for use in Colombia, emergency tent systems for refugees and smart housing for the elderly.

The constant design briefs allow you to build up a portfolio and explore different areas of design.
