Marketing is such an interesting subject, and Edinburgh Napier University offers a number of courses related to marketing. The major reason I chose this degree instead of another programme at a different University was because I wanted my course to be completely focussed on marketing.

“I am able to prepare for going to the working world”

I like that the fact that Edinburgh Napier University is an international university and I am able to meet a lot of people from different places. However, the most important thing is the subjects and courses that Edinburgh Napier offers are very practical compared to other more traditional universities. I believe that there are benefits and advantages in both types of universities, and yet I like the practical one more. It allows me to learn about the current market environment and thus I am able to prepare myself more before going to the working world. 

“People here are more relaxed, they take the time to enjoy life”

The thing I like the most about Edinburgh and Scotland is definitely the lifestyle people have here. I love the fact that people have the chance to have a work life balance which is very different from where I come from, Hong Kong. People here are more relaxed, they do not rush for everything and they take the time to enjoy life. Moreover, Edinburgh is one of the most historical, beautiful and peaceful cities.   The scenery in Scotland, especially the Highlands, is just breath-taking. It was love at first sight!
