Outstanding individuals are being sought to serve on Edinburgh Napier University's governing body, the University Court.

Lay Court membership represents a unique opportunity to help shape the work of one of Scotland's most ambitious and progressive universities.

You will have a strong commitment to higher education and will bring significant experience of operating at a senior level in any business or organisation in the private, public or not-for-profit environments.

At the present time we are ideally seeking to recruit three individuals with specific skillsets to help support the work of the Court:

  • Property Management and Development coupled with expertise in Property Law
  • Human Resource Management and Organisational Development
  • Internal and External Audit and related Governance.

We are committed to achieving a diverse governing body and endeavour to appoint people who enhance Court’s diversity where possible.  All appointments are made on merit.

These posts are part-time (around 12 working days per annum) voluntary opportunities for an initial term of 4 years, but please note that the positions are not open to current University staff or students.
