Our new Professional Diploma in Education (PGDE) courses* are designed by teachers, for teachers. 

Specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics to become a secondary school teacher.

*Our courses are subject to accreditation by the GTCS.

    A one-year PGDE courses allow you to teach your specialist subject in secondary schools. You know your subject. We'll help you share it.

    We’re known for providing personalised learning and links to industry, and putting theory into practice. 

    Our new teaching courses will be delivered by our School of Applied Sciences, which scored 85% for Student Satisfaction in 2018 (National Student Survey 2018). 

    We provide academic rigour and practical experience by combining Masters-level study with classroom skills.
