    placements

Succeeding in business is all about having the right connections. And we do. Edinburgh-based StudioLR sponsors a best in show prize at the University’s Degree Show, with the winner not only getting recognition on the night but the chance to go and work with the agency for a month. Local agencies also offer mentoring and placements throughout the year. We also have strong links with heavyweight agency Design Bridge in London, which has so far employed six of our graduates.

    study abroad

Our programmes have a wide international footprint, with the opportunity to study at a partner University overseas or take a work placement in industry in Year 3.

Leanne's design chosen for Scotland's first Baby Box

Studying design at Edinburgh Napier gives students the chance to take their ideas beyond the University – and for Leanne Young, that means seeing her work on Baby Boxes across the whole of Scotland.

Her idea, which features a forest scene complete with Highland cows, squirrels and the Loch Ness Monster, is now being depicted on boxes given to every new-born until March 2019.

Watch our video to see her reaction to winning and read more about her project here.
