Blockpass ID Lab
The Blockpass ID Lab is a funded collaboration with Blockpass IDN, and is the world’s first research lab which focuses on digital identity and citizen-focused design of digital system. At its core is the advancement of citizen-focused design around the principles of privacy-by-design and security-by-design.
Over the past few years it has developed core research skills around areas of advanced cryptography – including within areas of Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), distributed ledgers and homomorphic encryption. Key areas of focus of the work are data sharing, privacy-preserving machine learning, side-channel detection, distributed ledgers and wallets, and ransomware detection. A forthcoming spin-out (TrueDeploy) has developed through the research work in the lab and innovates in areas around software supply chain vulnerabilities.
