Edinburgh Napier wins 2024 Higher Educational Institution of the Year

We were named the top higher education institution in Scotland at the sector’s premier awards. We also won the Widening Access Award and Outstanding Contribution from a University Student as well as receiving a commendation in the Research Project of the Year category #MustBeNapier!

THE World University Rankings

Edinburgh Napier is ranked the top modern university in Scotland by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025. We also took the top spot in Scotland and are ranked a top 10 UK university in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024.

THE Impact Rankings 2024

Edinburgh Napier University is placed in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for the first time. The rankings measure progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
