Many bright students are put off university by the high cost, and many more drop out of their studies due to mounting debts. You could help students fulfil their potential – whatever their circumstances.

By funding a bursary, you could ensure that Edinburgh Napier remains open to everyone who has the talent to study here. And you could make their studies a truly fulfilling, life-changing experience.

Named Bursary

With an annual gift of £1,000 or more, you could name a bursary for a student who might otherwise struggle to cover the cost of university.

Your generosity would enable them to make the most of their time at Edinburgh Napier – and make the most of their talents in life.

One of our supporters established a bursary in the name of a loved one:

Setting up a bursary in my mother’s name enabled me to acknowledge the transformative impact that a university education has had on my life. I am proud to support the Esther James Bursary.

Enabling Achievement Bursary

For young people growing up in foster or residential homes, there are often complex barriers to going to university. And even when they gain a place, they still might not have the support of parents or carers – emotionally or financially.

By giving an annual gift of £1,000 or more, you could provide a start-up bursary for a young person leaving residential care. You could help them with essentials for their student accommodation, or cover some of the costs of their course.

For young people like this Computer Security student, you could transform their life forever:

Attending university seemed like a dream. But my bursary from Edinburgh Napier has allowed me to focus on my studies, and it will help me achieve my aspirations. I really don’t know how to thank you.
