Edinburgh Napier University's Craiglockhart campus was used as Craiglockhart War Hospital during the First World War. It was here that Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon first met and wrote some of their greatest war poetry.

Today the University celebrates this history through The War Poets Collection, which is comprised of more than 800 items thanks to our generous supporters. We are regularly growing this collection and using it as a tool for academic research, community education and outreach.
