At Edinburgh Napier University we are currently recruiting for a Dean of the School of Engineering & the Built Environment.
We have bold ambitions – growing our academic reputation, delivering an exceptional student experience, building innovation and enterprise, and ensuring our work makes an impact around the world.
Join us and you’ll find that we support ambition, recognise achievement and encourage innovation in every one of our people.
Your opportunity
We’re proud of our achievements, but we’re aiming higher. The difference is yours to make.
As the Dean, you’ll have a broad responsibility to drive and support our 2020 strategic aims: building our academic reputation, providing an exceptional student experience, working closely with industry and growing the school’s income.
You’ll set out your own vision and strategy for the school and provide the leadership to help us attract, retain and motivate the best possible academic staff, instilling the right behaviours and inspiring outstanding performance. You’ll look to drive the growth of our research, public engagement and enterprise and make sure this is matched by a suitably high profile.
The progress of the modern world depends on the calibre of the engineers, technologists and built environment professionals that our School of Engineering & the Built Environment produces.
