Studying Marketing Management at Edinburgh Napier has been the best experience.
Being in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, you meet such fantastic people that become some of your best friends. From being one of the original founders of SMS Napier – our marketing society – to coaching the ENU Panthers, the personal development opportunities have been endless for me. Aside from combining professional and academic experiences, one of the greatest advantages through my time studying Marketing Management has been the innovative assessments. As a highly dyslexic student who struggles with exams, I am so grateful that most graded submissions on the Marketing Management course are centred around more practical formats – such as reports and video submissions. Through being the current President of SMS Napier, I have noticed that this practical thinking extends beyond just the degree programme. Established as a collaboration between academics and students, we have seen so many individuals benefit from the industry insights and professional connections that SMS Napier provide. Ultimately setting you up for your future career, these practical skills can be important to utilise when completing either the placement or live project option in your penultimate year. I would highly recommend this course!
