Gill Duncan

Director, Edinburgh Science

Gill Duncan is a Director of Edinburgh Science, a leading educational charity with a mission to inspire people of ages and backgrounds to explore and understand the world around through engagement with science. The charity is best known for producing Edinburgh Science Festival, one of Edinburgh’s major festivals. For over a decade, Gill has expanded the organisation’s international reach through Edinburgh Science Worldwide, spearheading global collaborative projects such as the Abu Dhabi Science Festival for the Government of Abu Dhabi and the Art x Science Family Festival with the Getty Foundation in Los Angeles.

A graduate of Durham University and holding a Master’s in International Festivals and Events from Edinburgh Napier University, Gill is currently advancing her Executive MBA at the University of Warwick, supported as a scholar by the 30% Club, a global initiative promoting gender diversity in leadership roles.
