Biography
I am taking some time out from my role as a practicing ecological consultant to carry out research on the topic of badger surveying. The provisional title for the PhD is "Developing evidence-based guidelines on surveying and mitigation against impacts of infrastructure projects for the protected European badger Meles meles"
My special interest is in the surveying and protection of terrestrial mammals, in particular our protected mustelids. Previous research for my MSc included looking at the diet and distribution of the Eurasian otter in the Water of Leith.
