Biography
Bruce is a lecturer in nursing in the School of Health and Social Care. He has expertise in the delivery of nursing care to cardiac patients and has considerable experience in working in acute clinical settings.
Bruce is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Supporting Learning.
Bruce's research interests include physical activity and cardiovascular health, he completed a PhD at Edinburgh Napier University in 2021. Bruce's PhD was a mixed methods exploration of factors that influence the promotion of physical activity by healthcare professionals to their patients.
