I am an experienced physical therapist and have been in practice for over 10 years since receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2010. Since graduating, I have worked in Outpatient Neurology, home health, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, subacute rehabilitation, and electronic medical record development
In my current role I serve as a lecturer and placement coordinator at Edinburgh Napier University for the physiotherapy program. I also serve as the Director of Studies for a PhD candidate as well as co-supervise a M-Res project.
In my previous role I serve as a Physical Therapist for Northwestern Medicine Outpatient Neurological Rehab (August 23, 2010-present). My clinical focus currently involves neurologic trauma, multilevel trauma, neurodegenerative disease, concussion, amputation rehabilitation, as well as more recently, rehabilitation of patients with complications due to Covid-19. I continuously seek to practice the most up to date evidence based practice techniques in order to best serve my patients. I have many responsibilities at my clinic outside of clinical work which ranges from electronic medical record development to being a certified clinical instructor for doctoral candidates.
