Michelle O’Reilly, Clinical Director - Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre, School of Health and Social Care, Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom. Michelle is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing, academic lead for Simulation and Clinical Skills and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She teaches nursing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and her specialist area is Simulation. Michelle has used Simulation as an educational method for over 10 years. She has a special interest in ‘Live Simulation' sessions where entire wards are simulated allowing several professional groups to participate at once. Her desire is to improve professional practice and quality of patient care through active reflective learning. Michelle regularly writes and facilitates immersive simulation sessions around both technical and non-technical skills across various disciplines both in UK and Internationally.
